DESCRIPTION:
Dear prospective customer, As a professional musician, I take the music seriously. The Great Highland Bagpipe of Scotland is a difficult instrument to play, however there are a lot of relatively inexperienced players in the market place. When you hire a bagpiper for your next event, you need to make sure that the person you hire is capable of playing to your satisfaction. On this website I have included samples of my playing as I am not afraid to expose that to you the customer before your big event. I am not the cheapest bagpiper on the market, however I believe that you get what you pay for. I can guarantee you the highest quality music in this Philadelphia Metro Market not only from myself but the other musicians that represent my business from time to time. For most of you, this is a one time purchase. Before you make your decision as to who to hire, you should compare video and audio samples as the music is what you and your guests are going to remember about the bagpiper at your or your son or daughter's wedding. You won't remember the kilt and the horse haired sporran, however you will remember the feeling that the music gave you that day. Badly played bagpipes and bagpipe music do nothing positive for our business. I have also included a slide show of my bagpipe career on this site. I actually started out as a pianist. I was a piano major in college. I started the pipes in 10th grade as a way to play in the school's marching band and have been addicted ever since. I played in many bands in Southern California before moving here in 1980. I played with a few bands in the Philadelphia area before starting my programs. In the last 11 years, I have formed two bands as a result of teaching students to play this insrument. I hope my recordings and history make your choice an easy choice as who to hire for your next event. If you have any questions, please call me. Gary

Everything we wanted, Gary gave to us. Gary gave me a preview of music via telephone a week before the wedding, so that I could be 100% sure of what I wanted. All of our guests, and even the guests of another wedding, enjoyed Gary's music very much. The quality of his music was perfect both indoors and out. I would recommend Gary for any special event. Thank you Gary, for being a part of our big day. You are terrific!!!
