Bill Foley was awesome! I threw a Farewell party for my husbands deployment. We had a wide age span in the attendance but Bill preformed songs that everyone knew. He was on time and even began a little earlier than asked so that was a treat! When not singing he played songs and also took requests. I would highly recommend Mr. Foley.

Bill performed solo at our small outdoors wedding at my parents' house in October. Having the right music was very important to us...we were not planning a typical large wedding, so the music had to set the right mood. Before the big day Bill assured me of his experience with weddings, and I trusted that everything would go smoothly. My husband and I planned the wedding ourselves, so we truly appreciated the peace of mind Bill brought us. The music he chose during the reception was perfect for our guests, and many of them remarked how talented he is! My only complaint is that it was over so quickly! I would certainly recommend Bill for any special occasion!

The band performed in the art museum, not well known for its acoustics. Despite this, they sounded amazing. The last four weddings I have been to this year have had minimal dancing by the guests. This was not the case with the Bill Foley Band. Young and Old, everybody seemed to get up to get down. Also, the cd of our songs for the intro, mother/son, father/daughter dances wouldn;t read, and believe it or not, Bill knew the songs. All was saved. Having worked amongst musicians my whole life, this is the best band in the region for a top notch, sophisticated wedding or event. I am very grateful.

Bill Foley and his band far exceeded our expectations, and our expectations were quite high to begin with, based on all of the other positive reviews. With only a few exceptions, we let the band decide on what music to play and we couldn't have been happier with that decision. Both the young and old at our wedding enjoyed listening to and dancing with the music.

Bill was so helpful in every step of the wedding planning process. He was available to talk whenever I had any questions or new ideas. On the actual wedding day, he was very professional and made sure the entire evening flowed smoothly. In fact, when my husband and I arrived at the reception, we were greeted by the wedding coordinator who excitedly exclaimed "Do you know who you booked!?!?" and proceeded to quote Bill Foley's popularity on gigmasters and former shows he has played. Everyone liked the music, it was a good mix of songs for all generations. Bill handled my sensitive family situations with ease so that no one was uncomfortable.

We could not have selected a more perfect band for our wedding reception. So many of our guests kept asking us about the band and wondered where we found them. Beyond their talent, they were extremely accommodating and gave us wonderful suggestions on music and timing of those special wedding reception monents. We were able to truly enjoy our reception and our time with our family and friends and just let them m.c. the evening. It was so nice to not have to worry or keep watch of time for toasts, first dances etc. They made it possible for us to just enjoy our day and they handled everything!
Thank you Bill Foley Band!!!! I would recommend you all in a heartbeat!

7/8/2007
We had Bill Foley's 3 piece band play at our outdoor casual pool party wedding reception and they were wonderful! They were more than accommodating to us on the wedding day and throughout the planning process. In addition, they are extremely professional.
The songs they sang/played were great, so many people mentioned that it was hard to tell the difference from the original artists. If our guests weren't up dancing they were were singing along and tapping their feet.
I'm not very eloquent with my words, but this band added "the icing on the cake" making our wedding day absolutely fantastic!

Bill was hired for my mom/dad's 50th Wedding Anniversary Party @ the Hilton with about 150 guests, and he was just the right match for our party. He was very receptive to the crowd and played music accordingly. His professionalism was exemplary! Bill set-up early and was ready for the guests as they proceeded into the ballroom area. Great guitarist, with a great voice and tremendous work ethic to go along with it. Thouroughly satisfied!~ from: Amy in Ohio

The Bill Foley Band played at our wedding, and we could not have been more pleased with their performance. As an emcee, Bill provided clear structure for the evening in a very pleasant, unobtrusive way. The band's greatest strength was their ability to match the song choices and performance style to our audience; they seemed to have an intuitive sense of the personality of our guests and the event as a whole.

From the first contact, we had a great experience with Bill Foley and the Bill Foley Band. He was prompt, professional, and upfront with everything. Further, he provided a questionnaire covering many of the little details I didn't think about, and offered many suggestions to make the reception fun for everyone. At the reception, I didn't have any worries other than having fun, since Bill handled all the MC activities for the evening and kept things flowing. He checked in with the bride and me multiple times during the evening to make sure we and the guests were happy with everything. All the guests raved about how good the band was and how much fun everyone was having. We couldn't have been happier with our choice to use Bill Foley and the Bill Foley Band and would recommend that others use them as well.

Bill was exteremly accomodating and flexible. Beulah Park is a Thoroughbred race track, which since music can distract/spook horses, this was a tentative venture. Bill was able to integrate beautifully when the horses were not on the track, and had a high level of attention to detail to not play when they were. That's no easy task.
It worked out great! Our patrons loved it, and Bill really added to the ambiance of a beautiful autumn afternoon.
He arrived early, stayed late and enjoyed the day with us, as much as we enjoyed having him.
Bill was exactly what I needed, and he delivered on all fronts. I look forward to working with him many times in the future and will recommend him for our wedding clients who marry in our paddocks during the summer.

The Bill Foley Band is every bit as good as advertised on this site. Bill works with you down to the last detail to ensure a worry-free event. The mix of music was great we've gotten many compliments on the band selection since then. Thanks Bill and guys, you rock.

If you were to close your eyes during the performance, you could easily believe it was John Denver, Jim Croce, James Taylor or any one of the original performers themselves. As a bonus his warm and uplifting personality won over the crowd before he even sang his first song. We will not be surprised to see this mans name in Marque lights someday soon. We hope to have the pleasure to sponsor Bill Foley again soon. Jim and Sandy Young, Seneca Rocks Natural Living Retreat...
