Bell/Blake Duo
|
|
DESCRIPTION:
Fiddler/mandolinist Dennis Blake and guitarist/pianist/vocalist Bill Bell specialize in traditional Irish music ranging from lively jigs and reels to your favorite Irish songs. With over 12 years of professional experience apiece (4 as a duo), Blake and Bell have performed at countless weddings, parties, and events. They own their own professional sound equipment. What could be more perfect than a beautiful slow air while walking down the aisle? Their large repertoire of fiddle tunes make perfect cocktail hour music, and what better way to celebrate St. Patricks Day - or any other day! - than with upbeat drinking songs (All For Me Grog, Whiskey In The Jar) and timeless ballads (Fields of Athenrye). They have been known to throw in some U2 or Van Morrison if the situation calls for it. If a full band is needed, Bell and Blake can expand to a trio, quartet, or quintet with an expansive repertoire of Irish tunes as well as classic Rock and Soul hits. Please inquire for a full song list.

Bell Blake Duo is AMAZING!!! They played at my wedding and ceremony and EVERYONE LOVED THEM!!! They played beautiful light and airy music for the wedding ceremony. They played fun Irish jigs and contemporary music for the reception. They were flexible with requests from me and the club where they played. Friends and family are still telling me how great they were - they are very talented, accomodating, professional and an absolute pleasure to work with!

The Bell/Blake duo exceeded our expectations. They are 2 very affable and professional men and all of the guests at our party thoroughly enjoyed their music and raved over them. I "lucked out" when I chose them and hired them via the internet - we would totally recommend them - you will not be disappointed. Tracey O'Connor

Both perfect gentlemen - congenial, accommodating, and quite talented. Communication prior to the event was great. They were gracious when confronted with batty grandmothers, and provided good acoustics despite a less-than-perfect environment. The music they provided for my wedding was beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Bell/Blake duo were a pleasure to work with, great communication prior to event and during, and were very honest and trustworthy. They are young, incredibly talented, play multiple instruments and their sound was perfect for our event on the beach. The vocals were amazing as well. Terrific group and great musicians.
