DESCRIPTION:
(Soloist to Septet), HIGHEST CALIBER performances. *As seen on 'Outer Spaces','Ugly Betty,'The Office', & 'Deal or No Deal.' We are full-time, professional musicians who specialize in steel drums. Calypso, reggae, soca, Brazilian, jazz & classical styles. Male/Female vocals available. Listen - you'll hear talented musicians perform on the steel drums, aka 'pan'. We love pan- we have studied, traveled to, and played with many of the most accomplished steel drummers from Trinidad. As musicians, we've been playing most of our lives and are professionally trained & experienced percussionists. Abby and Dan respectively hold Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Percussion from the California Institute of the Arts. In the music community, CalArts is renowned for its magnificient world music program.
AND Productions = Abby and Dan, a husband and wife team of professional musicians. For performances, we use instruments and audio systems that are of the highest, professional caliber to ensure a clean, well-balanced sound - whether we are playing solo or as a seven-piece band. Most of all, our passion for the steel pan and music emerges in each performance.

Abby and Dan were wonderful. The music was perfect fot the event (backyard babacue with an island theme). They performed for the scheduled time and did a terrific time of matching the music to the party's pace. I definitely plan to hire them again.

Abby played solo for our event. She was punctual and her music was great. She is a talented steel drummer and singer as well. All she needed was a single power connection and she took it from there. When she took breaks she had background music playing to fill the void. The guests really enjoyed her. I would recommend her highly to anyone looking for steel drums at their party.

AND Prod. was great to work with. Organized, flexible and friendly. I was happy to alleviate some stress in the entertainement area of our wedding. Abby Savell answered all my emails promptly, and she was able to answer all my questions with patience.
