Workshop presenter Patrick Daniel shares his story of how he went from failing grades in high school to obtaining his Chartered Accountant title, then to opening his own accounting practice, and later to become the author of the book titled "Finding Your Road to Success – How to get there without getting lost".

Patrick shares his pains and joys he experienced throughout his career and shares useful tips on how to avoid a life full of debt when the money starts rolling in.

With the right attitude and mindset, Patrick believes that everyone has the potential to be successful and satisfied in life.

Patrick Daniel is a Concordia alumnus who struggled to make it through high school. Searching for success after university, Patrick moved up the ranks in accounting firms, only to realize he wasn't happy doing what he thought would make him successful. He started his own accounting practice, then wrote and published Finding Your Road to Success: How to get there without getting lost. Patrick likes to make a difference in society. He sits on the board of directors of the West Island Mission, is part of his church's youth council, has been a Big Brother volunteer for nine years and is involved with various other charity organizations.
