We are Mariachi Monumental De Mexico out of Chicago, IL. Mariachi Monumental De Mexico was founded in 2009 by Jose Ozuna. Born and raised in Tucson Arizona, Jose has been a student at the Tucson International Mariachi Conference doing workshops and performing on stage with the best Mariachi ensembles in the world, amongst them Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlan, Mariachi Sol De Mexico De Jose L. Hernandez, Mariachi Los Camperos De Nati Cano and Tucson's own Mariachi Cobre. Jose was also a member of the Nation's Premier High School Mariachi Aztlán De Pueblo High School in Tucson, Az from 1998-2001.

Members of Mariachi Monumental De Mexico have shared the stage with artists such as Joan Sebastian, Vicente Fernandez, Pablo Montero, Jose Feliciano, Pedro Fernandez, Gerardo Fernandez, Lorenzo De Monteclaro, Ezequiel Peña and did a special performance for Mexico's President Felipe Calderon on a visit to the city of Chicago. Members of Mariachi Monumental De Mexico have also worked in state of the art recording studios were artists such as Pepe Aguilar, Alejandro Fernandez, Horoscopos De Durango, Montéz De Durango, Patrulla 81, and many others record their multi-platinum selling albums.

• We hired Mariachi Monumental de Mexico for our son's wedding. They played during the dinner hour, playing both on the dance floor, and strolling amongst some of the tables. I have seen many, many Mariachi over the years, and these guys ranked right up there. Their musicianship and professionalism were top-notch. Don't know when my next child will marry, but I will be calling these guys again when the time comes. Even though we also had a superb DJ for the dance music, several couples approached me and said they wished the Mariachis could have played all night.
