On December 16 2011, we hosted a company holiday party for our employees. While a relatively small gathering, we still wanted to offer good entertainment for our guests. We were initially weary of booking a magician out of fear of being subject to cheesy p...arlor tricks or to someone who would turn out to be unreliable or uninteresting. Fortunately, our fears were dashed as we were referred to Chris Anthony—and he couldn't have been more perfect!
Not only was he an absolute pleasure to work with—he has an easy-going personality that made the entire booking process extremely easy. Chris is also a true professional from beginning to end and was very responsive to our calls and emails.
Chris arrived on time to our party dressed sharply. As the party was in a private home, he was very respectful of his surroundings. Almost immediately Chris introduced himself to the room, and showed off his truly memorable magic as we mingled during the cocktail hour. At formal dinner, he sat with us and amazed each table with his unique brand of mentalist art. Quite literally, he stunned the entire room with each magical feat. Not only were we shocked and amazed with every act of magic, he connected with each person on an intimate level; seemingly plucking information (like the name of family members) right out of each person's mind. To say that if I had a dollar for every gasp of astonishment that was uttered that evening, I'd be rich—is an understatement. Performance wise, Chris understands timing to a tee. He even stayed an hour longer than he was booked for (which was a huge treat for our guests since we didn't want him to leave!).
Chris is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! He is the real deal and we would book him again without a moment of hesitation. Days later, party guests are still proclaiming how enjoyable and awe inspiring of a performer Chris is and how much of a blast they had at the holiday party. • Chris Anthony is a diamond for any event or party you're throwing. He showed up early...didn't need or ask for any assistance..he jumped right in and got started. My event was for Wheelchair bound athletes to compete in various compititions...Chris walked around the crowd and entertained everyone. So many people kept coming over to me asking if I had his business card...which I didn't..until Chris came to say goodby and I had to ask him for them....so basically - he wasn't solicitationg himself throughout my event...which I loved. • On a scale of one to five I will rate Chris Anthonys magic show a TEN, I was sceptic that I had booked him at the last second, but when he began his show I could tell that we were in for a fun evening. The show was simply amazing, everyone old and young was simply blown away with his performance, and talent. As far as accomodating I was shocked when 4 family members arrived late, and he asked if he could stick around to do a private show for them afterwards. Thats professional!!!
