• Cherie was wonderful to work with. We live in Oklahoma City but the event was in Tyler, Texas. She maintained communication with us and the event location via email and phone. We had a wide range of ages attending and she made the performance fun and entertaining while keeping it appropriate for our younger and older guests. Everyone had a great time. • Cherie was a pleasure to work with and very accommodating to our schedule. Since this was a Service Awards Banquet for the company I work for, I was leery about a hypnotist act, therefore I asked Cherie if she would be open to bring along her magic act being prepared to use it should the employees be unreceptive to volunteering to be hypnotized. Cherie did have the magic show prepared for a backup but as she assured me (much to my surprise); there were plenty of volunteers from the audience. The show was hilarious! Immediately after walking in the door at work the next morning, I had several attendees telling me how much they enjoyed the evening. • Cherie Kay was a first time performance for our school and also a big success.The performers that we have used every year were not able to committ to a date and time. The Red Ribbon Committee decided to try someone new. This was our first time to have a magician. Cherie came with all her own equipment. We decided to use the school's sound equipment because it was already hooked up. Unfortunately it broke down in the middle of the show, Cherie did not miss a beat! She was able to have the kids make the music and even worked in her impromptu humor. We were impressed with the way she worked in our theme, "Color My World Drug Free" with her Rainbow Scarf trick. She even had the Principal's Panther Medal appear for a well behaved student. We have children ranging from Pre-K to fifth graders. We were concerned because our school has a deaf education prgram and just started a bilingual program. However, every child enjoyed her program. The message she gave for Red Ribbon Week was well received as were the magic tricks ranging from disappearing animals to making a student levitate.
