The Sometime Favorites
|
|
DESCRIPTION:
Formed in the summer of 2006, The Sometime Favorites are exactly what you'd expect from a biochemistry graduate student, a licensed civil engineer, a nationally renowned collegiate acappella producer, a Spanish translator, and a scholar with a likeness to Grizzly Adams. The Charlottesville, Virginia based quartet have logged plenty of stage time with members previously performing with the UVA rock bands Long Way East and Truman Sparks, and 3 members performing throughout their college careers with the award-winning a cappella group AVP.
The talented percussionist, Ray Szwabowski, forms a solid rhythm section with bassist Matt Chick, and the incredible vocals of James East are matched well with Adam Long's guitar virtuosity. Having opened for Northern Virginia rockers Welbilt, and the internationally respected Will Hoge, The Sometime Favorites are already making a name for themselves in the Charlottesville and Harrisonburg areas. With their first full-length album release in the near future, James, Matt, Ray, and Adam are ready to get the word out on The Sometime Favorites.

CLIENT FEEDBACK:
They were a little too, um, LOUD. We asked them to turn their instruments and etc. down a little, and they very nicely said they would, but I really didn't notice any change. But anyway, they were very entertaining and played hard. I enjoyed the diversity and originality of their repertoire. We were pleased with them and glad they played our event!
