DESCRIPTION:
First and foremost, we are a roots-reggae band performing conscious songs, ready to uplift your event with positivity. We can perform a variety of covers as well as originals, depending on your request. Our vast list of covers include Bob Marley-Bend Down Low, Stir It Up, No Woman No Cry, Redemption Song...Peter Tosh-Ketchy Shuby... Bob Dylan- Knocking on Heaven's Door, I shall Be Released(reggae style), Led Zeppelin-All of My love(reggae style)... We also touch upon some oldies in a reggae style, My Girl, Another Saturday Night, Stand By Me...We were recently asked if we could perform the traditional wedding song melodies in a reggae style, no problem!
The GWP sound is conscious roots-reggae, highly dance-able, full of energy, and always positive. Our core instrumentation is bass, drums, and guitar, with additional keyboards and percussion when requested. We are easy going, well-rehearsed, and ready to uplift any engagement with roots-reggae.

We were very pleased with GWP's performance at our wedding. They learned and performed special requests for us, worked with our budget, and still did an awesome job of coordinating the music with the flow of the wedding. We definately reccommend them for any occasion.

I really enjoyed planning the event with Greg and his band. They were very accomodating and made my pool party very different than having the usual DJ. In addition to providing the DJ music, he also provided music for me before, and after they were finished playing. Lastly, we had a storm but they were able to set their equipment back up again and provide more entertainment simply because he wanted to make sure that I had my money's worth. Get them if their schedule will fit yours!
