The Darryl Hill Blues Band

The band is fronted by Darryl Hill a veteran performer with Luther Snakeboy Johnson as a guitar virtuoso and multi instrumental performer playing keys and Blues harp and Vocals as well. The lineup is Bill Murphy a very gifted guitarist in his own right. Gary Hunt on Bass. Chris Schopp on Drums. The music is original yet traditional Blues in the chicago style so somewhat of a rock edge is present. There is plenty of youtube footage on the web so feel free to watch some videos. We often will even go into Zydeco and Texas Swing music during performance. Darryl has multiple albums already released and a fourth album near release plus many covers make for a nice performance.

• The Darryl Hill Blue Band was absolutely perfect for our event: Outdoor Crawfish and Blue Ribbon BBQ party with 500 attendees! Darryl and his band were on time, professional from set up to clean up, pleasant to converse with, and MAN! did they kick a*s with their music - a nice wide variety of blues styles as well as some of their own music they themselves wrote. They were unobstrusive, fun to be with and all of our guests commented on how great their music was and asked where we had found them. I highly recommend this band plus Gigmasters is the way to go!
