DESCRIPTION:
Since November 1979, the Carolina Rebels have been performing bluegrass music in a manner that has redefined the phrase "South Carolina Style Bluegrass"... Popular with bluegrass and non bluegrass audiences alike. The Carolina Rebels delight crowds with a mix of old style bluegrass, fast banjo and fiddle tunes, original songs, smooth 4/4 shuffles, quartet vocals…..and most importantly…..an entertaining show that every one can enjoy. The Carolina Rebels have been feature acts at bluegrass festivals across the country, appeared on TV and radio, and are proud to have performed for world leaders, including Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Frasier, Ambassadors from Japan, and the entire Caribbean delegation hosted by former President Ronald Reagan. We have performed for colleges, churches, weddings, picnics, public events and private parties. "Whenever good entertainment is needed the Carolina Rebels are ready...." Instruments consist of Banjo,Fiddle, Guitar, Mandolin and acoustic bass. Additional information on the band will be forwarded under separate cover.
