Swing in Time is available in a many of forms for a variety of occasions. We are available for private parties, receptions, conventions, festivals, club dates, dances, tours, concerts, weddings ect. Whether it’s upbeat swing to get everyone dancing or light background music to eat dinner Swing in Time is just the band you need. Our ever-expanding music library incorporates a wide variety of musical styles, all in original arrangements. Not limited to strictly jazz or swing tunes, Swing-in-Time also performs latin music (from salsa to bossa nova to samba) and funk music inspired by artists such as James Brown and Tower of Power. Additional material from contemporary artists from Aretha Franklin to Sublime.From jazz to swing, funk to latin, Swing-in-Time features quality music played by seven high-caliber musicians. Able to fit to any possible venue, Swing-in-Time prides itself on being an extremely versatile group. Playing everything from cutting-edge original jazz to dance music of all varieties, Swing-in-Time functions primarily as an instrumental group. However, they carry on the big-band tradition of accommodating and appearing with vocalists. With a variety of vocal styles including music from the books of Frank Sinatra and Michael Buble, Swing-in-Time is fully prepared to appear with skilled vocalists. By concept a “small big-band,” Swing-in-Time features each musician as an integral part of the performance. Each of the musicians performing with the band is a highly skilled professional, and has an extensive resume. Swing-in-Time musicians have played with the grammy award winning Sam Rivers RivBea Orchestra, grammy-nominated Dan McMillion band, the Gerry Williams Band, the cartoon band phenomenon the “Outer Toons,” and many more.
