DESCRIPTION:
Sound Investment is an energetic band focussed on reproducing classic rock n roll music especially from 1960's and 70's. Their music appeals to the young and old providing just the right beat for dancing. From Sound Investment you will hear the sounds of the Beach Boys, Beatles, The Eagles, Huey Lewis, Aretha Franklin, Sam & Dave, Delbert McClinton, The Four Tops, Young Rascals, Tempations, Righteous Brothers, Kinks, Supremes, Johnny Rivers, Doobie Brothers, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Crosby Stills Nash and many more. Kevin Filson, from Kentucky, plays bass and also sings lead vocals and backup harmonies. Kevin has roots in rock n roll as well as having been a bluegrass music recording artist. He has lived in Hendersonville, NC for over 15 years. Rick Gundersen, originally from Chicago, plays lead guitar and sings lead and harmony vocals. He has worked with Frankie (Sea Cruise) Ford, The Diamonds, Ronnie Dove, Dee Dee Clark, Paul Revere & the Raiders and many more artists. He has lived in Hendersonville, NC for over 15 years. Dan Weingartz is the drummer/percussionist and sings backup vocals. Dan has played a variety of music throughout his career from rock to jazz. He lives in Brevard, NC. Rodney Gibson plays guitar and keyboards and sings backup and lead vocals. His music roots are rock n roll but has has played a variety of music (gospel, folk, bluegrass, blues, and jazz) for most of his adult life. He is from West Virginia but has made North Carolina his home for over 30 years, living in Saluda.
