DESCRIPTION:
My 5-piece band can play the hottest be-bop jazz to the coolest blues and funk. We open typically with Birdland, with solos and then move on to female leads from the top 40. Then we step into the past with stuff by Leon Haywood, Greg allman, or the Tower of Power. We play a typically dinner crowd 1st set and then move on to the dance stuff. Our young beautiful singer (Megan) can sing Christina Aguilar, If the audience is rather placid, we'll stay in the jazz modality. If not, we funk it up with be-bop tenor or alto or trumpet solos. We have 5 singers and 5 pieces. 3 of the singers are lead vocalists. We cover the map depending on the gig or venue.
