The Riseband and Show is a 10 piece band that carries that special "Big Band Sound" that includes a trumpet and sax, which gives you that "old School" flavor. The female vocalist has a powerful voice that can light up the room. The male vocalist is very energetic and keeps the crowd on their feet. This band has performed with and backed up Mr. Wynton Marsalis, Gene Chandler, Percy Sledge, Roy C, Chick Willis, Little Sunny Warner and Eddie & Denise Day.

For a Black History performance at the Capitol Hill Hyatt in Washington D.C. on February 2009, the Riseband and Show performed with Wynton Marsalis. In 2008 the band played at the Pentagon Center Court on the anniversary of 9/11. The group has also been a hit at the casino in Charles Town WVA and the Lexington Market in Baltimore, MD.

• OUr company has never hired a band through this site and wasn't sure if we had made a good decision based on the population that we serve. After our annual event, all our of seniors and guests never had a negative comment about this band. All of our seniors even requested to be notified when the band would at a local facility to perform so that they were able to see them again and again. • This is an amazing band!!!! We hired them for a graduation party for my son. It could not have been any better hiring the recording artists that made the songs!! What a professional group of band members. ALL my guests loved them and we had approximately 100 guests ranging in all ages!! They looked fantastic and played so well. I wish I had an event next week so that we could bring them back again. We had such a great time as they interacted with our guests making it a truly special day.
