DESCRIPTION:
Comprised of 2 trumpets, 1 trombone, 3 saxes, and traditional rhythm section, the Little Big Band is big enough to put out a big band sound, yet small enough to allow for each player in the band to express his individual creativity. Each of the players in the group are extremely accomplished ensemble players as well as being very exciting soloists. And beyond that, they are just great people to work with. Wherever we appear, I believe that kind of group enthusiasm really comes through.The LBB repertoire consists of all styles of music, from straight ahead swing, big band classics, concert jazz, latin, funk and more. The band has performed as background music, played for dancing, played for concerts and backed up a variety of entertainers. The LBB can adapt its music to fit your event. Comprised of some of the Northwest’s finest musicians, the core band is: Kevin Seeley, Thomas Marriott, David Marriott, Travis Ranney, Alexey Nikolaev, Matso Limtiaco, Greg Williamson, Dan Kramlich, Chuck Kistler and Frank Seeberger. We hired the LBB for our wedding with only about two weeks until the big day. They were absolutely flawless and I'm SO glad we added them at the last minute, because they really made the party - I honestly can't imagine that the reception would have been nearly as great without them. We had several people ask me who they were and how they could hire them. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made for the entire wedding and we will definitely hire them again in the future! Michelle and Scott S (Happy couple) The Little Big Band was the hit of our daughter's wedding reception. From the bride and groom's first dance to the last song, everyone was moving to the music and sometimes singing along. The swing music they played was enjoyed by the grandparents in their eighties to the three year old ring bearer. The dance floor was always filled as the band played music you just had to dance to. The big band sound was perfect for the large reception hall. Many guests commented on how the band seemed to have fun playing for the wedding and the quality of their sound. The question we kept hearing was "Where did you find them?"
