DESCRIPTION:
If you are looking for entertaining and interactive music for your venue or function, Hi Fi Seoul is guaranteed to please audiences of all ages. They play Rock, Classic Rock, Blues, Funk and Latin music that everyone knows and loves. Just let them know what you want to hear and they will do their best to accommodate to your needs. Don't be surprised if you find your guests singing along with Hi Fi Seoul.Hi Fi Seoul is a four-piece cover band - vocals, drums, guitar and bass. The musicians have twenty years of experience playing in and around the Toronto and Barrie area. As well as performing at private events, Hi Fi Seoul have performed at Georgian Downs Race Track, Toronto's Distillery District, Hogan's Inn in King City, Sticky Fingers in Barrie and annual performances at Barrie's Canada Day celebrations and Newmarket's Weekend to End Breast Cancer. ------ And a little something about the musicians… Co-founder of HiFi Seoul, Sean Rogers is also the lead singer. When the band first started performing live, Sean played guitar and sang most of the vocals. However, being a fan of bands such as Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones and U2, he always felt that for a band to be successful, it needed the identity of a lead singer, someone with a strong personality who could entertain and interact with the audience. With this in mind, Sean concentrated solely on singing and accompanying percussion. He soon realized this was his calling in music, and the band has never turned back. Thanks to his prized wireless microphone, his roaming style of entertaining is now something of legend. Don’t be surprised if he joins your party at the other end of the bar or the patio outside while the band’s on stage! -- Dave (aka the "Screamin' Korean" - hence the name of the band) is the other co-founder of HiFi Seoul. He is an awesome musician, a true master of the electric guitar. Dave's been playing and touring across the country for over 20 years. When he's not performing, he writes and arranges music. He is also very well known in his community as an outstanding music teacher. Dave's favourite comment from new fans,"I didnt know Jackie Chan knew how to play Guitar". -- Angel thinks he’s just a regular bass player. However, those in the audience know he is an awesome musician. He’s a natural, engaging performer that plays to the crowd and dispels any rumour that bass players are boring on stage. You can see that he feels the music and loves to play in front of an audience. Angel perfected his art at Humber College and his repertoire extends from playing Jazz, Latin to Folk, but has the most fun playing good old Rock. -- Daniel has been playing drums and percussion for over 20 years, he won’t admit to exactly how many. He’s studied music in Cuba with the great masters of percussion and has played with several Jazz and Latin bands in Toronto. His most vivid memory growing up is being taken to see Carmen Miranda (known as the singer with the Tutti Frutti hats) when she visited Cuba to performed her big hit “Weekend In Havana”. He got to meet Carmen after the performance and as she bent down to pat young Daniel on the cheek, the heavily ladened Tutti Frutti hat tilted precariously and then fell over, crushing him over the head. Even after leaving the hospital, the ensuing nightmares from being pummelled by bananas and peaches continued and have never ceased to this day!! Despite Daniel's aversion to fruit, he willingly plays the best rendition of Led Zepplin’s Tangerine you’ve ever heard.

CLIENT FEEDBACK:
Thank you, thank you.. You guys were great. Loved the music you played , lots of people were up dancing...sorry I missed saying goodbye to you at the end of the evening. I asked for a specific song, and they took the time to learn the piece before the event.
Hope you have as much fun playing as we did listening, and dancing !!!
