Greetings from Flip City! We are honored by your review! Our residents are five highly talented, seasoned musicians playing select rock n' roll radio favorites spanning the last 50 years. Our aim is to appeal to a wide range of musical tastes by performing easily recognizable, sure-fire hits. We choose songs that are non-offensive to allow audiences of all ages to enjoy our shows. We employ the latest State-of-the-art L.E.D. Par and effects lighting that fill the dance floor with a collage of motion and color. Flip City's minimum power requirements are amazingly low, only (2) unused 20amp 120v. circuits are necessary to run a complete show! Flip City's PA consists entirely of JBL speakers including the state-of-the-art JBL MRX518's and JBL MRX515's for our front-of-house mains which means superb sound quality at any volume in any size venue. Besides being a top notch rock band with a repertoire that spans everything from the roots of rock n' roll to the spirit of the X-gen and everything in between we also cover all the bases provided by modern DJ's. We work with you to customize every aspect of your event from providing separate professional portable PA systems and wireless microphones for soothing music, toasts, or announcements during dinner to MCing your event with no hidden costs or add-ons. We can also utilize our custom laptop PC meant exclusively for playing music and video presentations with everything backed-up on CD's you can keep as a memento. • Steve O and his band were just awesome. I received so many compliments from my guests and will need to get some of the bands cards to hand out. They learned 2 new songs for our wedding that were not on their normal playlist, and Steve O even rented and played an autoharp during my ceremony for my sister to sing with, it was absolutely beautiful. I could not have asked for a better band music is something Matt and I take seriously and this band created everything we needed them too for the day to go off without a hitch!!!! • I loved them! Everyone loved them! They were fantastic. The dance floor was never empty. They even jumped off the stage onto the dance floor where everyone went crazy. I received so many complements on the band. Everyone said they have never heard such a great band at a wedding. They played poka, they plaid oldies, newies and everything in between. They even took requests. And they are so personable! When they were on break they didnt make themselves scarce they were right in the crowd mingling. • From booking to loading up and leaving at the end of the night, I give Flip City Live a standing Ovation. All night I had people coming up to tell me what a "Grand Slam" the band was. • Flip City Live was great to work with. They were very accomodating and personable. They played just exactly what I wanted. I kept trying to leave the dance floor to change into my dance shoes but couldn't leave because I didn't want to miss any of the songs. They even let my nephew join them on a couple of songs.
