Greetings from Flip City! We are honored by your review! Our residents are five highly talented, seasoned musicians playing select rock n' roll radio favorites spanning the last 50 years. Our aim is to appeal to a wide range of musical tastes by performing easily recognizable songs as close to the originals as possible. We choose songs that are non-offensive to allow audiences of all ages to enjoy our shows. Though we may not wear uniforms, a tasteful befitting attire and a professional, yet humble attitude are always presented by our members on & off the stage. Thanks to the latest State-of-the-art L.E.D. Par and effects lighting Flip City's power requirements are amazingly low, only (3) three unused 20amp- 120v. circuits are necessary to run a complete show! Flip City's PA consists entirely of JBL speakers including the state of the art JBL MRX500 series for our front-of-house which means exceptional sound quality at any volume. For outdoor events we also carry with us a 14'x14' and 10'x12" canopys that add to your patrons space by eliminating the band in your tent! Our references include clubs, fairs, festivals, weddings and private parties. Give us a call and we will be happy to discuss any arrangements in detail. No 'hidden clauses', 'fine print', or unexpected expenses. Great news with the bands' 2009 line up! On bass and vocals we are proud to introduce Denny McCain from Prairie du Sac, WI. Denny owns and engineers 'Full Moon Studios' nestled away in the beautiful Baraboo Bluffs. He brings with him many great new tunes and a delightful sense of humor, as well being a very talented singer and a top notch bassist. We're also very fortunate to have Darrell Schultz back on guitar, keys and vocals! A veteran of the Madison music scene for over 25 years. A UW Madison School of Music graduate with a great vocal range and an energetic stage presence. Along with Steve O.'s lead vocals and guitar, Roxxy's boundless ethusiasm and sensuous voice and Skeeter's percussive foundations the band is taking off to new levels of showmanship and professionalism. • I loved them! Everyone loved them! They were fantastic. The dance floor was never empty. They even jumped off the stage onto the dance floor where everyone went crazy. I received so many complements on the band. Everyone said they have never heard such a great band at a wedding. They played poka, they plaid oldies, newies and everything in between. They even took requests. And they are so personable! When they were on break they didnt make themselves scarce they were right in the crowd mingling. • From booking to loading up and leaving at the end of the night, I give Flip City Live a standing Ovation. All night I had people coming up to tell me what a "Grand Slam" the band was. • Flip City Live was great to work with. They were very accomodating and personable. They played just exactly what I wanted. I kept trying to leave the dance floor to change into my dance shoes but couldn't leave because I didn't want to miss any of the songs. They even let my nephew join them on a couple of songs.
