DESCRIPTION:
Our group performs year round for a variety of music needs/styles. The Oktoberfest Season is particularly popular for many public venues in the eastern states. European music is the seed for many musical styles we listen to and consider to be Americana-folk style or country popular music. The Appalachian music that is mainly bluegrass and folk melodies was influenced by these same music styles we perform today. Our group was formed in 2005 by Roger Comley, Tubist and Composer/Arranger for their unique music. Die Glücklichen Musiker is a performing ensemble that entertains for public venues from 500 to 50,000, providing a specific music program for Oktoberfest, Christmas, German Clubs, Company Parties and New Years providing dancing and listening entertainment. Yes, we can play Oompah too!!!Published Articles: NC Ski Report Magazine 2006 & 2007 Beer Advocate Magazine, Boston MA 2007 Capital Alehouse, Richmond VA 2007 The Richmond Times Dispatch, October 3, 2007, InRich com Local Entertainment 2007 – Richmond, VA, Homebrewtalk com 2008
