BURNING HOUSE BAND is a high energy dance band performing the best number one dance hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's, and more. The band is based in Lebanon, PA located between Reading and Harrisburg. BHB travels to all surrounding states. Some of the members have performed with major regional and national acts. This is a great dance band which is based on Soul, Motown, R&B, Disco with the power of Rock & Roll. We accept all types of private events including fairs, weddings, corporate events, dinner dances, holiday parties, and anything else. We love to make your event a special one that will be remembered by all who attend. The Story of Burning House Band... The band acquired its name when their drummer's house burned down on the night of their first job in 1990 and he showed up to play anyway. Then on job #2 there was a fire next door to the club where Burning House was playing! Over the first year, there were over 14 fire related events, from burning houses, to outdoor tents and everything in-between so... the band members took this as a sign and named the band accordingly... to this day they strongly advocate fire insurance! Burning House Band has performed during our 18 year history at many State, County and City Festivals along with Church Fairs and Carnivals throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and New York. In addition we continue to enjoy our #1 status as the most popular act in our marketplace. Nightclubs, Country Clubs, Corporate Events, Weddings, and Specialized Functions like Benefits or Fund Raisers request our services to guarantee their event is a great success.
