Description
BROADBAND features former members of the supergroup Three Dog Night and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band highlighting this 6-piece ensemble as the most Versatile, Dynamic, and Professional musical group in the Aspen area.Their expertise/experience in performing a BROAD variety of popular music genres at 100's of corporate/wedding events makes BROADBAND THE CHOICE of the top event planners savvy in the Colorado destination resort scene.
In keeping pace with the desire to have events be different and unique, BROADBAND will range from legitimate jazz and pop standards to country fiddle line dancing to full throttle rock n' roll and soul dance band mode depending on the flow of the party.
For absolutely unique, how about Three Dog Nights' super mega hit 'Joy to the World' performed by one of its very own former touring members and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band's hit song 'Make a Little Magic' sung by one of its former members and the song's co-author! Additionally BROADBAND will gladly go the extra mile and learn a special song request for first dance, father/daughter, or company 'roast'.
Their outstanding sax/clarinet soloist (Steve Cole) is a professional radio personality with a deep rich announcer voice that offers wit, patter and announcements as a Masters of Ceremony (if desired), the female lead (Roberta Lewis) owns a mastery of styles and broad vocal range which make her voice at once indescribable and unforgettable as she switches from elegant jazz to soulful R&B in a heartbeat and guitarist/fiddle (Steve Saylor) brings the "mountain music" experience alive as he doubles on the fiddle for our country swing and waltz numbers. Dave Bluefield (Three Dog Night,Stephen Spielberg, Stevie Nicks, Paul Anka) is a multi award winning songwriter, arranger and composer and Richard Hathaway (Dirt Band) co penned the hit song 'Make a little Magic'.
MAKE the BROADBAND CONNECTION and MAKE a lttle MAGIC of your own!
ADDITIONALLY;Smaller versions of the band are available for smaller venues ..single, duo, tiro , quartet...as Broadband Lite or The Uptown Strutters playing N'Orleans, Jazz, pop standards as well as R&B.
