DESCRIPTION:
Atomic Roots is a combination of many genres of musical styles and over 100 years of combined experience as professional musicians. The band is very unusual in its presentation of its chosen performance material. It presents classic and modern rock, blues and newgrass with mostly acoustic instrumentation. Guitar,Bass,mandolin,drums/percussionist,banjo and resophonic guitar, make up this bands sound. All instruments can be played acoustically or "plugged in" for more volume. The band carries a full professional grade PA system and is self contained-no venue help needed in equipment.
The indiviual players bring over 20 years experience playing rock music. Some members come from a blues back ground as well as the bluegrass/country and newgrass background. All these influences meld suprisingly well and allow much freedom in selecting material from those genres. The band is high energy and has great stage presence. They play all events from parties,wedding receptions/rehearsals,street festivals,music festivals,birthday parties,graduation parties and sit down concerts.They love to play and it shows in their performances.There isn't another band quite like this in the band market place. Professional grade instrumental skills and lead /harmony vocals and high energy make for a great entertainment value.
