The whole band was fantastic. Not only did their talent WOW the crowd, but they really got into the spirit of the event. They were the perfect mix of bluegrass, country and folk for our event and our crowd. We're going to figure out a way to make them honorary Fulton Countians!!

Marc and the band were amazing - friendly, professional and fun, they were exactly what we needed. Great bluegrass delivered by folks who could get people up dancing and share in the revelry! We loved their music online, and as we had hoped they were even better live. They helped us to add some personal touches to the set, and were a total pleasure to have at our wedding. Highly recommend them. Do it before they get famous and are no longer available!
Thanks so much,
Ronnie and Nikolle

Marc Silver and the Stonethrowers absolutely exceeded our expectations in every way -- the put on an excellent show, and their music helped make our wedding very special. Many guests asked for their cards so that they can hire them for their own events, and we will definitely ask them to play for our next big party. We give them our highest recommendation.
Fundraiser•Reviewed on May 9, 2011•From Alexandria, VA
We hired Marc Silver and the Stone Throwers for a fundraiser with about 150 people. Marc and his band were phenomenal. Very professional, but fun and laid back. The talent was exceptional, with great versatility and range of music. They even let my daughter and her friends sing with them for a few numbers. I would highly recommend them for any venue.

Graduation Party•Reviewed on September 10, 2010•From Philadelphia, PA
My friends and I were in search of a way to spice up the standard graduation party! Having grown up in rural area where good pickin' is a must at any event....we seached online for a good bluegrass band, which is when we came across Marc and the Stonethrowers. The band accommodated our every want, and the party was unforgettable! People had learned their songs prior to the night, they played our favorites, and they hung out all night! I would recommend them to anyone, and I plan on having them play any event I have in the future, even if I have to fly them to where I am! A must have, a true professional, great guys and amazing musicians! Catch them while you can!

Amazing performance, amazing talent, amazing people! Marc Silver and the Stonethrowers put a lot of effort into making our wedding day special. They gladly accepted special requests and if they never played a song before, they learned how to. Their performance was so genuine and sincere. It's obvious they take pride in their musical talents. Not only are they exceptional musicians who know how to set an awesome ambience, they are the kindest people you will ever meet. My husband and I felt so honored to have them perform for us and our guests on such a special day. ;)

I have nothing negative to say about Marc & The Stonethrowers. They were extremely accommodating to our requests, even when we had to change the date of our wedding due to venue issues. They chose a beautiful song for me (the bride) to walk down the aisle to and played beautiful original and popular music during the reception. In fact, I think every single person at the wedding commented on how cool the music was--and what a breath of fresh air it was from the traditional DJ most weddings have!

Marc and his band were amazing. I did not have to worry about a thing. They added our specific song requests and played them beautifully. Our guests were impressed and a week and a half later, they keep asking about them and complimenting them and us for our decision! I would highly recommend them to anyone! Nicest folks, too!

We had Marc Silver and The Stonethrowers perform at our Sunday brunch wedding. They did a fantastic job and we would highly recommend them. Marc was super helpful and accomodating throughout the whole process. They showed up on time and were very professional. They are wonderfully talented and ALL of our guests loved them, even the non-bluegrassy people. If you are looking for a fun, original band for your event these guys won't disapoint!

Marc Silver & The Stonethrowers arrived nice and early to set up, so we had a chance to hang out with them before the party - what a nice bunch of people, we loved hearing a little bit of the history of the band and enjoyed the cool vibe of hanging out with musicians! They played all of our requests, even if they had to learn from scratch and were just incredible! We would not hesitate to hire them again. I do wish they had tried to rouse the crowd to dance a bit more, but at the same time they can't read my mind -- next time : )
