Description

Tom Watt, known to his loyal following as "The Buffettman," has been dazzling fans around the U.S. for over a decade. Over the years Tom has performed more than 1200 shows with his own unique tribute to both the music and spirit of the Jimmy Buffett concert experience. A true Jimmy double (in both looks & voice), Tom began performing his tribute show regularly in Pittsburgh, PA, in 1998. By the following year he was performing Jimmy's music up and down the east coast, from Key West, throughout Florida to the Carolinas and Virginia's East Coast.

Since then, Tom has expanded his show with several talented musicians and a repertoire of songs that are sure to satisfy Landsharks everywhere, with performances that range from thrilling trop-rock antics to more intimate acoustic fare full of dynamic harmonies and superb musicianship. His range of tunes includes Buffett favorites like "Margaritaville" and "Fins," to lesser-known gems, such as "Love in the Library," "The Captain and the Kid," and "Coast of Carolina." And let's not forget to mention Buffett concert staples like "Brown Eyed Girl," "Uncle John's Band," and the most requested Buffett song at The Buffettman's shows, "A Pirate Looks at 40" just to name a few!

Tom and his group can be found regularly touring the country, from Vegas to the east coast, the southwest, and America's heartland, performing their own brand of Buffett in over 20 states each year to the delight of thousands of Parrotheads. Some of Tom's favorite "faces and places" along the way have included, in no particular order: Las Vegas hot spots like the HIlton, the Mirage, Treasure Island, and the Imperial Palace; Key West's Conch Republic; the Mario Lemieux Golf Invitational; the United States Coast Guard; the Pittsburgh Pirates, Omaha Royals, Binghamton Mets, Lincoln Salt Dogs; the Wheeling Sternwheelers Festival, various ski resorts, fund raisers and, of course, "Parrothead Functions" both private and corporate all over the United States!

In August, 2005, Tom received the Impersonator Industry's top honor when he was named Male Vocal Performer of the Year at the industry's annual convention in Las Vegas. That same summer, Tom was also hired to be Jimmy Buffett's photo double during the filming of the major motion picture "Hoot" in Ft. Lauderdale. So if you miss that feeling you get at a Buffett Concert, and you just can't wait another minute to experience it again, then set your course for St. Somewhere and catch Tom Watt, the Buffettman, live in concert. It really is Paradise! Cheeseburgers optional!

  • Very professional, very concerned that they do their part to ensure a good show. Showed up early to make sure they were set up and out of the way before guests arrived. Show was terrific. Would recommend them anytime! -- Theresa K, Pittsburgh, PA, 5/22/2009
