The members of the trio, bassist John Barron, pianist Sven Anderson, and drummer Rob Emanuel are all acclaimed veterans of the Detroit music scene. The group's shared passion for the sounds of straight-ahead jazz, Afro-Cuban, Brazilian and soul music helps to create a distinctive style, spontaneous and forward-thinking. Their critically acclaimed self-titled debut release focuses on the accessible nature of each composition, spontaneous group interplay and improvisational prowess.
