DESCRIPTION:
"VISION" a power house four piece band with all veterans who have been in the music business for over 25 years each. "VISION" plays a blend of Funk Jazz, Smooth jazz, Fusion Jazz, and Latin Jazz as well as a taste of Mainstream (Straighthead) Jazz. Specializing in the best of the 1980's jazz fusion. This group is an outstanding, professional band ready for any occasion, whether in concert, club or private party. Presently performing in and around the Denver area doing clubs, casual work and concerts.How Vision was formed:
"VISION" was formed in July 2007 by Burt Shur (Drums) and Jim Arter (Sax). Both player felt something was missing in the Denver music scene. They decided to put together a band that consisted of just the best players around. Chuck Leichner (Keyboadist) joined the band in early September 2007 and Michael Willis (Bass) joined in early November 2007. Burt and Michael have been playing together for quit some time as they where both involved with the "Big City Trio" back in 2004-2006. These are some of the best musicians in and around the Denver area. This group is what has been missing in the Denver area music scene. When you hear them live you feel like you are listening to the original recordings.
