DESCRIPTION:
The Ice Age Jazztet is an all-star band based in the Los Angeles area.
All members are in-demand session players and bandleaders in their own rights. Repertoire includes the Great American Songbook, Classic and Modern Jazz : Private functions, receptions, gallery openings, media events, premieres, and corporate events. Emphasis is placed on dynamics and taste; playing to the room. Special requests are always welcome.Quartet (sax, keyboard or guitar, bass, drums), trio (sax, bass, drums) or duo (sax, bass). The Ice Age Jazztet performs at private/corporate events throughout Southern California. Past club engagements have included The Knitting Factory, 2nd Street Jazz Club, Maggiano's at the Grove, Holly Street Bar & Grill, Schatzi's of Santa Monica, Rainbow Bar & Grill, and Hollywood's American Legion Hall.
