MetroTang, led by composer/percussionist Chacho Ramirez, brings a unique angle to jazz. Combining African drumming rhythms with funky bass lines and long flowing melodies, the music has something for everybody. These outstanding musicians have recorded and toured throughout the world.

We also offer smaller configurations, and a Latin dance band with steel pan, flute and/or trumpet.

In addition, for weddings we provide classical music on steel pan,flute, piano, and/or guitar. The cocktail hour is covered by our jazz group, and then the Latin band keeps everyone dancing into the night. Contact us and tell us what you'd like at your wedding or party.

• Metrotang were really excellent. The event was an outdoor garden party in New York city for approx 120 people. Metrotang arrived early and set up in a most professional manner. Their manager, Carolyn, was there also to make sure everything went smoothly. The music was perfect for the setting and they were very friendly and accomodation. Well done. We would definitely recommend them and look forward to having them play for us again.
