John was a most delightful addition to my Aunt Fran's 100th birthday party. I live in California and the party was in Boston, so I was doing all the planning from a distance. Once I selected John, he kept in contact with me to discuss every detail.He accommodated every wish and added the right touch to the party. I would recommend him highly to anyone wishing to make their event memorable. He was there in plenty of time,played beautifully and his appearance in his tuxedo was another touch that went above and beyond my expectations.

Both John and his singer were fantastic!! They were such a hit that we asked them to extend another 1 1/2 hours, since my 90 year old mother was dancing up a storm and thoroughly enjoying her birthday, along with 50 guests. They played all our requests and really got the audience going. We would definitely hire John and his singer for another gig in the future.

We hired John to play at a 50th anniversary party. We had a list of songs that we knew the couple liked, and he said he could play them and many other similar songs. He arrived a bit early to set up his keyboard (the place we were at did not have a piano) and was playing as guests arrived. We had asked that he play quiet background music. He did just this. After the meal it seemed that the guests were ready for something a bit more, and he slowly included more up-beat lively music. At one point some guests started to hum or sing softly and he passed out lyric books! It was wonderful - one song after another that the "older folks" knew and loved and they could sing along. Everyone had a grand time. It would not have been the same without John - he made the evening flow and come together. When he evening was over and we were handing him back the lyric books he said the anniversary couple could keep them - they were so tickled; I strongly believe that was their best present of the night! By the way, the songs he played were perfect - the older folks said they recognized every one of them! We definitely would hire John again for any sort of occasion and do not hesitate in the least to recommend him.

I hired John to play at my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party, which was held at their home on 10/28/06. John did a wonderful job keeping people entertained and he was willing to play special requests and engage people in sing-a-longs. John was in communication with me a few times prior to the event, which I appreciated. On the day of the event, John was on time (in spite of the weather!) and friendly with our guests.
