As an award winning pannist Wentworth have performed extensively throughout the world including japan australia and almost every state in the USA.his musical ability stems from caribbean music to contemporary jazz.Wentworth was fortunate to grow up on the island of trinidad(birth place of the steel-drum)where he had every opertuninty to perform alongside the best and most talented steel drum players in the world.He now resides in maryland and brings his musical ability of performing the authentic artform of the steel drum as well as vocals to complete his performance.Wentworth have put together a wonderful group of hand picked musicians and formed the JOYY CARIBBEAN ENSEMBLE which consists of bass key-boards and drums together with vocals for the bigger parties etc.so what ever the event, big or small be sure u get a chance to see and hear wentworth either by himself(as a solo act)or with his band JOYY CARIBBEAN ENSEMBLE.it would be a great caribbean exprience.Don't be fooled by any immitation steel drummers,get the real deal directly from trinidad & tobago.the land of the steel-pan and calypso.

I hired Wentworth to play steel drum during registration for a charity golf tournament. He arrived at least half an hour early! He was a huge hit with the golfers, volunteers and the golf course staff. He set the perfect tone for the day, it was overcast and tons of people commented on Wentworth's music making them feel like it was sunny and tropical even with the threat of rain! The golf course staff was so impressed with the reaction to Wentworth that they will be recommending him to other people that are planning golf tournaments in the future. He didn't need any direction from me and his selection of music was perfect for the event and appropriate for the crowd in attendance. He is very talented and we loved having him at our event! Not only would we hire Wentworth to play steel drum at another one of our events, we are looking for excuses to do just that.
