DESCRIPTION:
Featuring the music of Sinatra & the Ratpack with great vocals and instrumentalists that have played with all the big names from Frank to Tony B. you are sure to have a great time. The band features Wayne along with female vocalist Mary H. Between them they cover the spectrum of music with everything from the standards to R & B dance favorites. Their sophisticated style makes them equally popular for weddings and with the Country Club set for their annual parties. They feature keyboards, bass, drums and up to 3 horn players in the group along with Wayne & Mary on vocals. What the critics say,
'Wayne Sutton's new show.....is a real winner.' 'Sutton's rich voice .. a warm, inviting baritone...confident, secure.' 'there are wonderful classics and Sutton does each and every one to a T.' Pierce Carson, The Napa Register 'Wayne Sutton lifted spirits' Gene Price, San Francisco Bay Times

Register Staff Writer Wayne Sutton's new show -- a musical examination of love through the eyes of a man who's still very much in love with his wife after some three decades -- is a real winner. Sutton's rich voice has matured -- it's a warm, inviting baritone now. And with arrangements and direction by a handful of pros, the presentation is superb. There are powerhouse ballads ('Come Rain or Come Shine'), heartfelt torch songs ('If I Ever Say I'm Over You') and earnest confessions ('I Love My Wife'). There are wonderful classics ('All The Way') as well as new songs ('Look in My Eyes') and Sutton does each and every one to a T. He's confidant, secure and in fine voice. I'm sure the show will be well received when he takes it to the Big Apple next week. The only song that doesn't fit the mood, at least for this listener, is a country/western-sounding ditty that ends the program. Otherwise, 'Comes Love' is a feather in Sutton's cap.
Wayne Sutton is multi-talented.
A college voice major, through the years he appeared in leading roles in regional theatre productions of The Fantasticks; Brigadoon; Oklahoma; Company; South Pacific; Side By Side By Sondheim; The King and I; Guys and Dolls and many others.
Wayne delights his audience's while his relaxed, at ease, love of interaction with them captivates, charms and involves all. His charisma makes his concerts an intimate experience.
you will find that he is equally at home as a solo performer or with his band 'Shades of Sinatra'.
He has performed world wide with recent appearances in the Danny's Skylight Room & Chez Suzette's in New York City, Hotel Du Lac-Bellagio, Italy; Shadow Lounge, and The Union Club in London as well as rooms in San Francisco (The Plush Room); Palm Springs; and Los Angeles.
Wayne is the producer of the San Francisco Bay Area Cabaret Competition; Foley's Cabaret Spotlight and Foley's Follies. Additionally, he hosted and produced Piaf's Cabaret Showcase for two years and has been in big demand for his emcee skills.
Co-producer of the West Coast Cabaret Conference, Wayne was also the executive producer of this years Singers Symposium in Siena, Italy.
Wayne Sutton brings to the stage an engaging self-confidence and intimacy born of life's experience along with the awareness of how precious each day is. He and his wife Suzi, a breast cancer survivor, raised their two sons Scott and Andrew,
He continually lends his talents to numerous charitable organizations such as Toy's for Tots; The American Cancer Society; Teddy Care Concerts, etc.

CLIENT FEEDBACK:
We really enjoyed the music of Wayne Sutton and his band. We were able to pick songs to be played at the event. The only complaint was he ended too soon. The dance floor was packed and we wanted to extend the band for an extra 1/2 hour. The contract said midnight, so that's when they stopped. The complaint is really a compliment cause we didn't want the music to stop. He was a pleasure to work with and I would recommend the band.
