DESCRIPTION:
The Savannah Stompers Jazz Band(SSJB) performs traditional classic jazz tunes from the early part of the last century from New Orleans dixieland, to St.Louis and Chicago standards, and West Coast Revival (40's) repertoire. This is all FOOT-STOMPIN', TOE-TAPPIN', GOTTA GET UP AND DANCE FUN MUSIC! If you want a rousing party which your guests will never forget, the SSJB is your band. Young couples are realizing the appeal of this traditional music from the golden age of jazz resulting in our growing popularity for several wedding parties we have played for recently from Jacksonville FL to the Augusta area. From up-tempo Charlestons to slow ballads and blues.
our repertoire appeals to dancers of all ages. We are normally a 7 piece ensemble (trumpet, trombone, clarinet,
tuba, banjo, drums, and piano/keyboard). Bob Paredi leads the group
on TPT and vocals. We play on the Savannah Riverboats and private
clubs all over town and have also played for public and special
fund-raising events. Class reunions, birthday parties, wedding parties, U.S. Tennis Association tournament parties and many other
groups have enjoyed our music and favored us with repeat
performances for several years.

CLIENT FEEDBACK:
Overall a very good experience - nice group of people to deal with who play fun music - got our parents out dancing. I seem to recall a very long dinner break, but other than that it was great. I think they may have even played a little bit longer than was expected. Thanks!

The Savannah Stompers were great! They learned our requests ahead of time, handled music perfectly during the wedding ceremony, and proved to be very flexible with everything involved. I would 100% recommend them for a wedding or any type of live event.
