Description
Talented, professional, flexible and original are just some of the words used to describe the Peneplain Jazz Project. We are a group of award-winning jazz musicians that play all styles of Jazz; from Swing to Bop, Latin to Contemporary, Funk and even some Jazzed-up pop tunes.
PJP is built around a dynamic rhythm section of piano, bass and drums to which we add instrumentation as needed. Available instruments include saxophone, trumpet, trombone, vocals(male and female), guitar, flute and vibraphone. The resulting sound ranges from intimate to exciting. For smaller venues and budgets we also offer various duo and drumless trio formats.
Peneplain Jazz is a member in good standing with the Denver/Boulder Better Business Bureau and can be counted on to provide the highest standards in both it’s music and professionalism. Contact us today and let us know how we can meet your needs !

Feedback
- Jerry Weiss with Peneplain Jazz Project was awesome to work with. All our planning needed to be done from a distance and he took care of everything from a to z. Our three day event ran so smoothly and we got a ton of compliments on the jazz quartet from attendees and vendors. They knew exactly when to pick up the pace and took it upon themselves to tweak things a bit to fit the crowds drifting in and out. We were incredibly impressed with their level of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to accomodate our every wish or need.
Our client was equally impressed and thought that they were truly one of the highlights of their experience with the GABF in Denver. Peneplain Jazz Project is, without a doubt, topnotch in every way. We will be booking them again next year and are so grateful to have found such first class entertainment, halfway across the country, through the Gigmasters site! You rock! -- Kat H, Denver, CO, 9/28/2006
- I have nothing but great things to say about Peneplain Jazz Project. When they played our event they were professional, courteous, and very entertaining.
One of their greatest talents was their ability to play "with the mood" of the evening. Our event was fairly non-structured and they knew right when to pick things up or cool them off. It was very impressive.
They played many selections from a wide background. I would recommend them to any of my friends hosting an event. They certainly received "ten out of ten stars" from us. -- Derik G, Colorado Springs, CO, 11/12/2005
- Fantastic! We received more compliments about the band than any other part of the wedding reception. What a great change from the standard DJ. They added a special song at our request, and did a wonderful job with it. These guys have a nice, tight sound. You won't be disappointed. -- Reg J, Denver, CO, 4/30/2005
