'Metro' is one of the most popular cover bands in the Pacific NW. They are a group of top rated, full time, studio musicians and vocalists, each with their own recording projects, who come together to create a dazzling, high energy presentation that features music from the 60's through the 90's......jazz to funk, suitable for audiences of all ages. This band can perform as a 6 piece band with both male and female lead singers or add horns and percussion to expand to an 8 piece group.Their musical style is self-described as 'Urban, R&B, funk, Soul, Groove Music,' but no matter how you define Metro's format, people unanimously agree that this talented group has paid careful attention to every detail of their performance, both on stage and off. Metro sets itself apart from other bands in their enthusiasm to tailor each performance to the needs and preferences of their audiences.Metro band members include musicians who have performed with Tom Grant, Quarterflash, Nu Shooz, and many other national recording artists. Their current schedule includes club dates, corporate parties and conventions, weddings and summer festivals.
