Melodaires Band

We are a variety band of long expeienced professioal musicians with primary emphasis on easy-listening jazz and big band swing. We are equally at ease performing Dixieland, Latin, ballads, and Broadway show tunes from the 20s to the 60s. Our repetoire also includes 50s/60s/70s, light Rock & Roll, polkas, waltzes, and Irish/Italian/Jewish ethnic music. We also do some humorous parodies. Rounding out our variety is some vintage country and blues. Our music is easy on you ear drums, and we encourage audience requests. We use a minimum of two pieces, up to seven. We are available for dances, concerts, corporate functions, weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays. • The group was fantastic and everyone at the party came up to me and said " Where on earth did you find this band, they are the best we have ever had at our reunions ", and I ought to know as I hired all of them. • My mother's 95th birthday party was a great hit with the band Melodaires, they played all the music that she liked. The band was very professional,on time and played for 4 hours. • We had the Melodaires perform at our daughter's wedding reception on 03-06-09....they were a hit! They came decked out in tuxes--they looked great and their music was wonderful! • Absolutely fantastic band! They rocked my wedding reception, and boy did they rock it good. Every last one of my guests was in awe as to how good they were. They played every single song requested and much much more. They showed up before the time required with their own exceptional sound equipment and played hard all the way to the last minute. • Melodaires Band was the perfect choice for our daughter's wedding. They were not only wonderful and accomplished musicians, they played just the right music and played to our small group just as if we were a large crowd. They interacted with all of our guests and each other in an easy, humorous manner. Everyone in attendance, young and old, commented on how much they enjoyed the band, and not just their music, which was phenomenol, but their personalities. All members dressed in tuxedoes and presented as very professional and accomodated a last minute change of the keyboardist being asked to move his equipment between the ceremony and reception, which was very much appreciated. • Clare was incredible with follow-up and follow through. He worked with our list of songs, our schedule, our long-distance situation, our location, EVERYTHING. I am sure with the sax their talent would have increased even more (but our budget and venue were too small!!). We appreciated their talent, professionalism, promptness, and flexibility.
