DESCRIPTION:
Los Bandidos is a 6-8 piece instrumental Latin band specializing in playing Latin Jazz and Salsa THAT YOU CAN DANCE TO. We're an experienced RELIABLE and AFFORDABLE band that's a guaranteed hit! We'll even teach you to dance Salsa! We can also play swing/jazz as well as Top 40 music! Contact us for free demo CDs and DVDs!!Led by saxophonist Joe Kaczorowski, a Salsa dancer himself, Los Bandidos' music has had their crowds dancing since 1999, where they first performed to a crowd of over 500 people at the First Annual Ithaca Jazz Festival. Since that time, this band, made up of trumpet, sax, trombone, piano, bass, and three percussionists has played at countless clubs, weddings, parties, and festivals throughout New York State. Notable performances by the band include a 2002 appearance at the Madison Square Park Music Festival, as well as shows at New York City clubs such as Gonzalez Y Gonzalez and the Triad Theater. Other appearances by the band have included many shows at Stepping Out Dance Studios, where dancers praise their selection of catchy, danceable music, a recital at the West Point Military Academy which the Colonel called one of the best recitals ever at the base, and a concert at Cornell University that had audience members dancing in the aisles! While typically an eight piece group, Los Bandidos can be resized to have as few as 6 members, or can perform as a larger band, depending on your needs. Our assortment of Mambos, Cha Chas, Boleros, Danzons, and Merengues is guaranteed to keep your crowd dancing! Also, if you are interested in having the band play some Top 40 and pop music, we can add a singer to provide that option to you as well. This works particularly well for weddings where clients are looking for a mix of Latin and American music for their guests to dance to! You say you can't dance? Saxophonist and Bandleader Joe Kaczorowski has studied Salsa dancing for three years and can offer a 45 minute beginning Salsa dance class that will have even the most inexperienced dancers feeling comfortable moving to Los Bandidos' music!
