Just Friends is comprised of 8 musicians (sax,Gaines Brake & Kim Bain; trumpet& vocals,Chuck King;trombone, Bill Jeffries; piano, Mike Carlisle; (guitar,Paul Moore); bass& vocals,Alan Brooks; & drums, Herb Forsythe; vocalist, Annie McLendon. We play mostly private parties and engagements. Our musical repertoire includes jazz, dixieland, standards, some rock, some country, etc.
Our name is the result of our long-time friendship and our common love for making music.
