DESCRIPTION:
Islay Rodriguez, a guitarist of Latino heritage, specializes in modern instrumental music. Islay adds a unique style to musical genres such as Bossa Nova, Flamenco, Smooth Jazz, and American Pop. His passion for experimentation allows him to break artistic boundaries and create new musical ideas with very familiar melodies.
Islay has been performing publicly since age 16 in restaurants, clubs, concert halls, and cruise ships such as 'Discovery Sun' and Royal Caribbean's 'Voyager of the Seas'.
You can experience Islay in performance at "The Grape" at Downtown, PGA Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens, every Thursday and Friday night from 7pm to 10pm.
