Humphry performs music from the Great American Songbook, performing jazz standards and romantic ballads. He consists of piano and vocals with a bass/drum sequencer. A piano man or one-man band. We can add a trumpet or guitar player to form a duo. His excellent 4 piece backup band, The Passengers are always ready to perform depending on your needs. CLIENT FEEDBACK:
We hired Humphrey to play at our wedding on 4/22/2007. He played one wedding song during the ceremony and performed several jazz ballads while the guests were eating lunch. Humphrey sounded great. His smooth and elegant style was perfect for the occasion.
It added a touch of class to our special day.
A memorable moment occurred during the ceremony when Humphrey performed the song "Apple Blossom Time". It had rained earlier and the sky was overcast. When Humphrey sang the verse - "Happy the bride, the sun shines on today" - the sun came out and shined upon us during the rest of the ceremony. If Humphrey had anything to with that, he is definitely well connected.
Humphrey was professional, punctual, courteous, and very talented. We highly recommend him if you need to hire a jazz singer. Thank you Humphrey for being a memorable part of our wedding.
