The Modern Cocktail Society formed over a mutual appreciation for classic jazz, bossa novas and swinging standards from the 1930's thru the 1960's.
Founded by bassist Anthony Marsico, the trios classic instrumentation of guitar,acoustic bass and drums add just the right vibe to your cocktail party, wedding or corporate event.
Marsico and his band of top notch studio musicians have toured the U.S.,Canada,Europe and Japan extensively entertaining audiences with their brand of jazz. The Modern Cocktail Society have performed for a long list of clients such as Clint Eastwood,Kanye West,Kim Kardashian,Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to big name corporate clients such as Mattel,Honda Motors,Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, The Getty Museum and many more.
Band members have appeared on numerous television shows including Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien.
Marsico has also penned original songs for numerous commercials, motion pictures and television shows including the HBO hits Entourage and Six Feet Under.

• Anthony was a pleasure to work with--a true professional in every sense. I felt confident that this was the type of music we wanted for the evening, but we were really blown away by how perfect it truly was--the band set the tone for the evening and kept the party "in play" all night. This was an 80th birthday dinner party at a country club. The guests were generally older, so the standards were totally appreciated. Then again, my friends (in their 40s) enjoyed the classic vibe--and we even got to dance, which was a treat! I cannot wait for another occasion to book Modern Cocktail Society.
