Jazz and R&B Saxophonist--Based out of San Diego If your looking for a Jamm'in saxophone player--Good Jazz and R&B. Classic Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Old School, Dr. James Brown III is your man. Dr. Brown is a multi-instrumentalist and have been playing the saxophone for over 25 years now. He is able to adjust to any type of setting or function ranging from quite cocktail parties, birthday parties, indoor and outdoor events, including concerts, weddings, wedding receptions, and corporate events. He provides very good listening music as well as a bit of boogie to get things moving if the occasion calls for it. Dr. Brown has performed on the West coast (San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco) and various cities on the East Coast from Washington D.C. to New York City. His uniqueness is that He plays 3 different saxophones, the soprano, alto and tenor saxophones. This gives him the option of playing a wide range of musical selections. His song selections range from classic jazz, smooth jazz and R&B. Dr. Brown performs as a solo artist using quality background music to support all of his selections which give a complete, full and total band sound. He provides his own, state of the art audio equipment to provide you the best sound possible. He usually perform three (3) one hour sets. Each one hour set includes (3)45 min. sets with a 15 minute break in-between the 3 sets. Additional travel cost will be required for events exceeding 30 miles from my base location.
