My goal is to earn your respect. How do I do it--time and time again?

--I show up: early; prepared; dressed to perfection...
--I perform: as promised; at the right volume; as needed--when needed.
--I conclude: professionally, leaving everyone wanting more.

--I've provided this service for over 30 years--I've been performing corporate and wedding functions since I was 10-years old!

Generally, after a modest deposit is received, your date gets written in stone. As a former Navy Corpsman (10-years active), I know the meaning of honesty and integrity.

I know how important this event is to you, and I take every step seriously.

I generally arrive from an hour to two hours early, depending on the circumstances.

At no additional charge, I provide one on one planning for the musical experience of the event. After that, I provide written feedback, via e-mail, confirming the details.

I dress for the occasion, and that is outlined in our Planning Session.

Depending on the venue, equipment can vary from a very small setup to a rather large setup. Larger setups invariably incur additional compensation.

Compensation is completed upon set up at the event. Compensation is the gross fee minus the deposit, which will have already been received.

Upon conclusion of the performance, all gear is neatly an quietly broken down. I generally do not stay beyond the agreed time, unless requested.

Addition performance compensation is $100 per additional 30 minutes.

However, if I am offered to stay for social reasons, I generally will; and naturally there is no charge for that.

Bio

As a child, I started early performing in public. By age 10, I was playing the school dances and local block parties. At age 14, I mastered the wedding circuit. I attended Chautauqua Music College at age 17; and later went on to study music at Cal State Northridge.

I worked as a professional musician until August of 1989. At that point, I joined the Navy to further my education. I stayed in the Navy until I completed my MBA (10-years) and several other studies. As a Hospital Corpsman, I worked as a surgical technician in Operation Desert Storm and Operation Restore Hope (Somalia). While in the service, I earned 13 ribbons and seven Medals. Cling, cling, cling...I just loved walking around with all those medals--that's why I stayed in so long. And God bless those who do it for life.

I left the Navy with an MBA and began work as a Wall Street Stockbroker. After 10 years of that, I said, "Wooops, this is not me at all."

For the past decade, I have owned an operated Jack's Music. Luckily, the investment I made obtaining the MBA helps me run the business smoothly; the military experience helps me to run it right; and my early music training helps me to run it from the heart.

I perform at least three times a week. I also work as the music director for Discover Life Church in Carlsbad, California. I teach a dedicated group of guitar students; and write movies scores for movies.

--Brian Setzer (Stray Cats) was my first guitar teacher.

--Troy Johnson (Billboard top 100) is the singing pastor of the group I direct.
