Windsor Jazz Ensemble is a 16 member big band playing '40's swing and retro rock. Swing tunes include readily recognizable Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Cab Calloway and Duke Ellington such as In the Mood, They Can't Take That Away from Me, Zoot Suit Riot, Jump, Jive and Wail, etc. Retro rock featuring hits from Tower of Power,Santana, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, and Earth, Wind, and Fire such as You're Still a Young Man, I Wish, Higher Ground, and the list goes on! See our song list for a sample of our tunes. We have played a wide variety of venues including wineries, dinner dances, private parties and many fundraisers. We can rock the house or play quiet, dinner dance music. Wide variety of tunes from the 40's through the 80's of familiar danceable tunes. The Band is known for their service to the community and support of music education throughout Sonoma County.
