Description
The Patrick Lamborn ensemble is comprised of the finest musicians in Philadelphia playing everything from jazz standards to top 40 music. We even play themed music (Halloween, Christmas, television theme music, etc.)! The music you hear on this page is of a big band featuring the members of the group.
Patrick graduated from Temple University Esther Boyer's College of Music in 2011 with a BA in Jazz Performance on upright bass. He has performed at venues including but not limited to The Alice Tulley Theater at Lincoln Center, Verizon Hall & the Perlman Theater at the Kimmel Center, The Apollo Theater, Dizzy's Coca-Cola Club, The Philadelphia Art Museum's Art After Five, Bethlehem's Musikfest, Ortlieb's Jazz Haus, Chris' Jazz Cafe, and the Loew's Hotel. He has performed with Artists including but not limited to Stefon Harris, Jaleel Shaw, Savion Glover, Wycliffe Gordon, Branford Marsalis, Dick Oatts, Karryn Alison, Terell Stafford, Glenn McLelland, Javon Jackson, and Houston Person. In addition to playing jazz bass, Patrick also plays guitar in the alternative rock band Son Step featuring Jon Coyle, Chris Coyle, and Matt Scarano, and does sound design for dance/performance group Bodyfields. Most recently, Patrick was music coordinator for the 2011 season of Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary, where he arranged and performed avant-garde acoustic/trance music for each night of the haunt.
