Description
We can recommend many different two to six piece groups consisting of
guitar, banjo, piano, upright bass, percussion,
clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, violin, and male and female vocalists.
The jazz players are all seasoned players who perform in and around New Orleans 4-6 nights every week. We usually contract these groups for receptions, brunches, and other events. They can play most requests and they add quite a bit to the ambiance of the party without interfering with dinner conversation. They can also play more upbeat and danceable tunes as the night goes on.
I would recommend building your ensemble around a banjo player or
guitarist, upright bassist, and a lead instrument (trumpet, saxophone,
violin, or clarinet). If you prefer dixieland jazz, I recommend banjo
and clarinet with bass. If you'd rather smooth or traditional jazz, I
recommend guitar and bass with sax or trumpet.
We coordinate and arrange music and musicians for parties, weddings, and receptions on a weekly basis. We've planned and performed music for countless events and have not had a negative review yet.
