Michele Solberg and Oliver Steck Jazz Duo from Austin, TX

Michele Solberg and Oliver Steck are an acoustic duo who play American jazz standards (typically sung by Ella Fitzgerald, Anita O'Day, Billie Holiday in the 30s, 40s, and 60s) and Americana classics by artists like Van Morrison, Leonard Cohen, and Willie Nelson. They are both veteran musicians in Austin, Tx and have played internationally in England, Denmark, France, Italy, and Mexico. They have both won awards at the Austin Music Awards for "Best Female Vocals", "Best Miscellaneous Instrument", and "Best Keyboard Player." Oliver's incredible talent includes piano and keyboard, trumpet, accordion, as well as his spirited vocals. Michele plays acoustic guitar, classical guitar and sings. Oliver Steck has toured and recorded with popular and critically acclaimed Austin singer-songwriters: Slaid Cleaves and Bob Schneider. Oliver Steck graduated from the Dell’Arte school of Physical Theater in 2002. His theater experience makes him a musical improvisation master.
