PAULO'S ACOUSTIC JAZZ & POP
Paul Montesano brings a distinctive style and unique sound to Southern California. Along with saxophone player Brian Pierini, the duo creates the perfect atmosphere for wedding receptions, dinner parties and any special occasion or event. Paulo's rhythmic guitar playing and smooth vocals offer new interpretations of American Classics with an international flavor. With a repertoire that includes Sinatra, the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Antonio Carlos Jobim and others, the duo brings versatility with or without programmed drums and percussion.
As a prolific songwriter and composer, Paulo produces recordings from his own studio in San Diego @ Montesanomusic.com. His original recordings and compositions can be heard in film and on television. As a songwriter, Paul's style is in the singer/songwriter tradition, encompassing a variety of genres, including: Soul, Jazz, Rock, Brazilian, Neo-Soul and Reggae. In 2010 Paul received an Emmy award for his work on a lifestyle and history series on PBS called "Wonderland.”

Paulo and Adrienne recently performed at a corporate reception for me and they were absolutely wonderful. They were prompt, required very little for set up and so very flexible with us as we were hanging a sign while they were trying to set up. They had a wonderful sound and I heard many compliments on their performance at the dinner that followed. The only regret I had was that I was unable to just sit and enjoy them for longer than I had. I would not hesitate to bring them in again. Thank you !

Paulo was really amazing to work with. He was organized and on time, wasn't needy at all (a big plus when you work in events planning and really need people to handle their own pieces for you!), offered to stay to keep the music going, and had a really FUN sound. Their instruments are awesome and they are clearly very skilled musicians. Our highly corporate audience enjoyed their beats and it was professional enough for our audience and allowed people to sway and relax a little. I would DEFINITELY recommend them and hire them again!
