Soul Wagon, lead by pianist Benito Brajkovich carries on the soulful and swingin' styles of that enormous collection of music called jazz. With respect to the composers of these great American songs, Brajkovich stays true to the enduring melodies. Also, the band delves into simpler blues forms driven by groove, soul, and raw energy.

Played with passion and feeling full of swingin' energy, the music is inspired by that era of jazz and blues that was played for the night clubs, creating a lively and danceable atmosphere. Music like this is played for the people and can lift the mood of any event.

Benito has a lyrical way of playing the melodies of the great jazz songbook, and a beautiful touch on the piano. Providing beautiful and sultry background music, or more high energy swingin' jazz and blues, Soul Wagon plays music with much feeling and will add a touch of class to your reception or party.

Benito studied piano at the world renowned Berklee College of Music and has since been entertaining in Austin and surrounding areas in restaurants, bars, clubs, and private events and weddings.

Though Soul Wagon is a quartet, the size of the band can be tweaked to fit what is needed for your event, from SOLO PIANO to DUO, or a QUINTET or larger, adding sax and trumpet to the band.
