Wedding CeremonyReviewed on May 30, 2014From New Orleans, LA

I couldn't have been happier with Frank and Cindy! They were friendly, professional, and so very talented! They even learned and played the Beatles "All you need is love" for us to exit to, and of course did an amazing job at it! I would work with only them if I ever came back and needed musical talent, they were a dream to work with! All of our guests made great comments as to how good they were, thank you guys so much for making our wedding day as picture perfect as can be!

ConventionReviewed on April 30, 2012From New Orleans, LA

A versatile and talented duo with good variety of music. And they knew to keep the volume reasonable during our corporate event so that people could still network during the evening.

ConventionReviewed on March 8, 2013From New Orleans, LA

We hired Mayes2 for our closing dinner of a business conference. They were very versatile with the ability to play multiple instruments and sing a great variety of music. They also embodied the theme of New Orleans where our conference was held. They kept the volume just right for our setting as the people also like to network with their suppliers and customers. They were very professional and had a good understanding of what was needed for this type of event. I would not hesitate recommending them.

Engagement PartyReviewed on March 26, 2014From New Orleans, LA

Hate to write anything bad but they weren't what we expected. They did a recording during our party (which i approved) but when I requested a change in music we were told it's coming… Just not my cup of tea but maybe for others. I would give them 3 stars

MAYES2 regrets that our client, who was professional and easy to work with, did not like our music. Perhaps there was too much variety? She graciously let us video tape a song, but the tape quality and lighting were not up to our standards enough to send to her. It was 106 degrees that day and while the party was in the early evening (outdoors), we were soaking wet after setting up before we began to play. My husband was showing signs of heat exhaustion, but we kept playing. We did go to a change in the music from horn duets to piano and horns, but not as soon as she requested. I guess we gave her coffee when she really wanted tea. Our sincerest apologies.
